Callum's Preliminary evaluation

What worked well and were our strengths?

  • We did not find it hard to come up with a storyline or idea in which we had to include certain scenes.
  • As a group we were strong with out editing and made our time very efficient when it came to cutting down our clips.
  • The setting that we chose turned out to be better than we first thought with the bench being right next to the door allowing our recording a much easier job.
  • We included all the scenes that we had to from the specification that we got given at the very start and did not take a great deal of time recording our actual scenes giving us more time if we needed to improve or record any scenes again if we had to at a later date.
What could we of done better if we were to do it again?
  • We did not take enough time when recording which was our downfall, we could of taken a lot more time to try and make each scene perfect and to make sure no mistakes were made.
  • Our timing for the recording of the film was bad as we wasted 10mins waiting for the set we chose to be free with the lower years having to get changed and come to their lessons through the  door we wanted to use.
  • We did not record enough footage in order to try and construct a 1minute clip, our clip was less than 40seconds and it had a few scenes where we had left some of our recording equipment was still in the camera shot when we were recording, little mistakes that could have been very easy and quick to correct.
