- The weather on the day of filming was dry, which enabled us to take our time to film the exterior shot of Tom walking through the door.
- The setting proved to be appropriate, especially with the fact that the set of doors and the seat where the conversation takes place are adjacent to one another
- The editing process also went well, in that the transitions used and straight cuts creates a flow to the film, as well as making the audience feel as if they are there on-set.
EBI
- To improve, I feel we should have filmed 1 minutes worth of content, as opposed to just 30 seconds. However, I think that within those 30 seconds, the content is effective, and covers the ultimate aims of the preliminary task.
- Another effect we could add in the future is the use of more vibrant transitions which evoke the use of shape and patterns. The use of black and white in some scenes could also be added, to create a sense of time period. But overall, we are pleased with the preliminary task.
